Use it when you want the current state of the environment rather than a step-by-step guide.

Current identity-lab footprint

The Infrastructure segment (VLAN 20) currently contains two Windows guests:

• DC-05, a Windows Server 2022 domain controller providing AD DS, AD-integrated DNS, Kerberos, LDAP, and the Global Catalog
• CL-01, a Windows 11 domain client used to validate domain joining, standard-user authentication, Group Policy, and AppLocker

Both guests are intentionally temporary because storage is limited. They will be removed after the lab evidence and rebuild instructions have been retained; until then, this section describes the environment as it exists now.

Update rule

If the change is about the current shape of the lab, update the matching Architecture page and stop there unless another section truly needs the same information.

Temporary workloads remain in the current inventory until they are actually removed. A planned retirement is recorded as a lifecycle note, not presented as an already-completed infrastructure change.
